About Me

My approach to coaching is rooted in a simple belief, being a great goalie coach includes being a mentor, leader, and a positive influence in every athlete’s development. I strive to create a mindset where goalies not only build skills on the ice, but learn the position to maximize growth and performance.

Through my 10+ years of experience coaching at a variety of levels (OHL, NAHL, OJHL, GOJL, GMHL, OMHA, GTHL), I recognize that every goalie brings a unique skill set, personality, and way of learning. Because of that, I believe coaching should never be one-size-fits-all; each athlete deserves an approach that is tailored to their individual needs.

My coaching style and philosophy are supported by my academic foundation. Attending Brock University and accomplishing a Sports Management degree, I have worked to develop a deeper understanding of athlete mechanics, and how I can create the most impactful development path that leads to continued success.

My educational background, combined with my passion for the game allows me to deliver a well-rounded coaching experience.
